The Emirates Office Tower, also referred to as Emirates Tower One is a 54-floor office building along Sheikh Zayed Road in the city of Dubai in the United Arab Emirates. Connected with the 56-floor Jumeirah Emirates Towers Hotel by a retail boulevard, they form what is commonly referred to as the Emirates Towers complex. The tower has a total structural height of 354.6 m (1,163 ft) and roof height of 311 m (1,020 ft) making it the 12th tallest currently-standing fully-habitable building in the world. Emirates Office Tower One is taller than Jumeirah Emirates Towers Hotel despite having two fewer floors. Construction was completed in November 1999.
Burj Al Arab Hotel, Dubai, which was opened in 1999, is unofficially billed as a 7-star hotel and is the world's most luxurious and tallest hotel.
A 24 meter (79 feet) wide helipad projects from the building 210 meters above the ground.
All of the hotel's 202 rooms are two-storey suites, ranging in size from 170 square metres (1,830 square feet) to 780 square metres (8,396 square feet).

The building is entirely pre-leased to Emirates Airlines to house its flight attendants - a big contrast to the previous tallest residential tower, where the world's richest man owned a unit.
The Al Rastamani logo of 3 overlapping doves in flight is affixed to the turret which abuts the spire.
The tower has a footprint of 1,350 m², and includes a rooftop swimming pool and gymnasium. A 9-storey car park adjoins the main tower.
The most striking feature of the building design is the white diagonal spine that stretches from the ground to its apex at a height of 230m.
The building services are accommodated on the 19th, 35th and 49th floor.
The roof of the car park building behind the tower accommodates a 25m long swimming pool, gymnasium, squash courts and changing rooms.
The building next door, Union Tower, was built as 'Al Salam Tower' but changed names when it was sold, so this tower took it over before changing its own name to 'Chelsea Tower'.
The two wings of the top ornament join to form a perfectly square aperture, at the centre of which a 40-meter needle is suspended.
It takes two years to build
The building will have an adjacent 11-story carpark, linked to the building by a tunnel, and a bridge from the 9th story of the car-park to the 4th story of the tower.
The height of the Shangri-La Hotel is 196 meters.
The Capricorn Tower is a 46-floor tower in Dubai, United Arab Emirates. The tower has a total structural height of 185 m (605 ft). Construction of Capricorn Tower was completed in 2003.
