DAMs in KANYAKUMARI
Kanyakumari is the southern most district of Tamil Nadu. The district lies between 77o 15' and 77o 36'   of the eastern longitudes and 8o 03'  and 8o 35'  of the northern Latitudes.The District is bound by Tirunelveli District on the North and the east. The South Eastern boundary is the Gulf of Mannar. On the South and the South West, the boundaries are the Indian Ocean and the Arabian Sea. On the West and North West it is bound by Kerala.

Qutub Minar is the pride of Delhi. Qutub Minar is the highest stone tower in India.It is one of the popular tourist site in Delhi. The tall minaret was constructed in 1192 by Qutab-ud-din Aibak.  Qutub Minar breathes down the neck of the Quwwat-ul-Islam mosque. The soaring conical tower is an exquisite example of Indo-Islamic Afghan architecture.

New7Wonders of the World was an initiative started in 2001 by the Swiss corporation. New7Wonders Foundation to choose  Wonders of the World from a selection of 200 existing monuments. A popularity poll was led by Canadian-Swiss Bernard Weber, and organized by the New7Wonders Foundation based in Zurich, Switzerland, with winners announced on July 7, 2007 in Lisbon. The New7Wonders Foundation is regulated by the Swiss Federal Foundation Authority as all nationwide-active foundations in Switzerland.

The Red Fort of Delhi was built by the great Mughal emperor Shah Jahan. The Red Fort or the Lal Qila is located in Netaji subash marg  in New delhi  stretching towards the heart of Old Delhi next to chandini chowk and was previously known as Qila-e-Mu'alla of the then Shahjanabad, Shah Jahan's new capital.

A magnificent wooden palace of the 16th century, Padmanabhapuram Palace lies at the land's end of mainland India – Kanyakumari but, it comes under the Government of Kerala's administration.. An enticing ediffice to any lover of art and architecture this old palace of the Rajas of the erstwhile Travancore (1550 to 1750 AD) is a fine specimen of Kerala's indigenous style of architecture.

Circular Fort or Vattakottai is a seaside fort near Kanyakumari, the southern tip of India. It is about 7 km from Kanyakumari town. It was built in the 18th century as a coastal defence-fortification and barracks in the erstwhile Travancore kingdom. It is set up as the southernmost  sea coast defense point by the Dutch. It was constructed under the supervision of Captain Eustachius De Lannoy during the reign of Mathandavarma (1729-58).
